Large socket motherboards are a higher grade of PC motherboard.

They must have a main cpu socket that is 2 inches or larger. They include the Socket 370 family of motherboards like Pentium I as well as slot processor motherboards such as Pentium II.

Older motherboards like the 386 and 486 boards also fall into this category even though their sockets are not always 2 inches in size.
